How to set up two-factor authentication on Discord?
Two-factor authentication, or 2FA for short, adds an extra layer of security to your Discord account. Think of it as a second, one-time password, that's generated on your phone every time you need to log in.
How do I set up 2FA?
- Click on the ⚙️ cog icon in the lower left corner of your Discord app, right next to your username.
- Go to the "My account" page, which should open by default.
- Under the Password and authentication section, click Enable two-factor auth.
- Using an authenticator app, follow the steps given by Discord.
